The Truth is God, and God is the Truth. He cannot tell a lie. A white lie is a black lie, for there is no truth in a white lie. Satan covers lies up by making them white lies. The truth is not in him. Satan is the father of lies. He deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden, and led a rebellion against God by deceiving the angels.

If you believe the gospel of Christ is a lie, and you do not believe you need salvation, then you make God out to be a liar and evil. If you believe that God is telling you the truth, and that you do need salvation, you acknowledge that God is true and good. The Truth will identify and expose the inner most part of your heart. If your heart is evil, and you want to hide the fact that you are evil, you will deny the Truth about yourself. Hence, in the process, you will make God out to be a liar. However, if your heart is truthful and honest, you will admit that you are evil, and you need God; thereby, acknowledging God is Truth.

The Truth sets us free. It sets us free from ignorance, lies, the deceptiveness of the evil heart, the bondage to sin, the curses of sin (illness, poverty, work, childbirth, etc.). We become free to pursue righteousness through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Truth gives us wisdom into all things, whereas the lie clouds everything up and conceals the Truth. The Truth guides us in our path, and we know where we came from, where we are, and where we are headed. The lie will confuse and mislead and make us bear the fruits of sin: fanaticism, ungodliness, Satan worship, suffering, conflict, hatred. The Truth will lead us to Christ and the fruits of the Holy Spirit: love, peace, joy, patience, diligence, faith, hope, kindness.

The Truth leads us to salvation, and the lie leads us to destruction. The Truth leads us to the Father in heaven, and the lie leads us to the Lake of Fire. Those who love the Truth come to the Father through Christ. Those who love the lie will be deceived, for the light is not in them. Light and darkness cannot coexist, for both are opposites. There will come a strong deception on those who rejected the Truth of Christ, for they would not accept the Light. They do not recognize the Light, for they have no Truth in them. For those who have the Light, it will shine in them revealing every part of their hearts, turning them to righteousness; and the Light will shine through them unto others, so they may come to the Light also. God is the Truth and lives in everlasting light, and the gospel of Christ Jesus our Lord is His message of Truth that shines our path to Him.
